A Basic Carrot Juice Recipe

Eating healthy and maintaining a balanced diet is essential. The food we eat has a huge influence on our general health. They can lower the risks of dangerous diseases and even help us maintain healthy looking skin.

Homemade juice blends are one of the easiest ways to maintain a healthy diet. If you are having trouble including vegetable to your dish, perhaps you should try drinking them from your glass. This is a basic carrot juice recipe you can make with your juicer.

This blend contains a variety of vegetables other than carrots. The general taste circulates around carrots, but other vegetable are included for some other health benefits. For instance: ginger helps the body digest food properly. By doing so, you are less likely to get stomach irritations such as constipation.

Ingredients

  • Fresh Carrots × 5

Cut the carrots in half. If you put them whole in your juicer, they may damage it or your drink may not be as smooth. Raw Ginger Root × 1 small cut (half an inch)

  • Cucumber × 1

Cucumber also has a rough skin. If it is not fine cut, your blend will not be smooth as require. So, it is also advisable to have the cucumber halved before you put it in the juicer.

Carrot Juice

Cucumber contains a compound called fisetin. This compound promotes mental health by improving memory. Among other things it is known to eliminate bacteria that cause bad mouth odor.

  • Beetroot × 1/2

Beetroot is known to help to fight high blood pressure. It may also be a good idea to consume a portion of this veg before working out; it boosts your stamina significantly.

  • Stalks (celery) × 3

Celery is a great addition to your weight loss grocery list. For starters, it is very low in calories. Among other things it contains nutrients that promote good digestion such as vitamin B, C, antioxidants and minerals such as potassium.

  • Pineapple × 1

Some of the benefits of pineapple include bone and oral health. It contains manganese: a compound known to play an active role in strengthening bones, gums, and teeth.

How to Make the Juice

It is optional to do this: take a knife and remove the top layer of carrots. Some people prefer to consume carrots as they are.

From there on do the common thing; wash all the vegetables before you put them in the juicer. Close the lit and press on until you get a nice smooth blend. Put some ice in your drinking container and pour the juice over it. This blend a day should keep the doctor away.
